Emergency Overview
Storm damage to siding rarely gives you time to prepare for it. A gust catches an already-loose panel and it's gone in an instant, and from that moment on, wind-driven rain has an open route straight to the wall behind it. Speed matters here just as much as the quality of the eventual repair.
We treat every storm-related call as time-sensitive. Once a wall is exposed, the clock is running on how long before that moisture reaches the sheathing and the insulation packed in behind it, so getting a crew to your Valley Grove, WV address and the opening covered is the first move, not an afterthought.
Seventeen years of storm calls across Valley Grove, WV have shown us the full range, from one panel peeled back in a gust to entire elevations stripped in a single event. The scale changes the scope, but the order of operations never does: stop the water first, plan the repair second.
Common Storm Damage Situations
Wind-Torn Panels
Gusts pulling single panels or whole runs off the wall, leaving bare sheathing exposed to the weather.
Debris Impact
Branches or airborne debris cracking, denting, or punching straight through siding panels.
Water Intrusion
Driving rain pushed behind loose or missing panels while the storm is still overhead.
Warped or Buckled Sections
Fast temperature drops during a storm causing panels to bow or pop loose from their fasteners.
Fallen Branch Damage
A heavier limb coming down on the wall, leaving damage well beyond a single panel.
Hail Combined with Wind
Mixed events that leave impact pockmarks and torn sections from the same storm system.
What to Do Right Now
Check for Safety Hazards
Keep your distance from downed lines, unstable limbs overhead, or any siding hanging by a thread that could drop without warning before a crew arrives.
Document the Damage
If conditions allow, photograph the affected wall from a safe distance. Those photos speed up our assessment and support any insurance claim you end up filing.
Limit Interior Water Exposure
If water is already coming through, pull furniture and belongings back from that wall and set down towels or a container to catch what's dripping in the meantime.
